General terms and conditions

ARTICLE 1 – DEFINITIONS

The following definitions clarify the meaning of terms used throughout these General Terms and Conditions to ensure consistency and legal certainty:

  • Cancellation period: The legally specified time window in which consumers may cancel a purchase without providing a reason and return the product.

  • Consumer: Any natural person engaging in a legal transaction with rebiento.com for purposes not predominantly related to commercial or professional activity.

  • Continuing obligation: A contract that involves recurring deliveries or services over an agreed period.

  • Durable medium: Any format that enables users to retain information for future reference and reproduction in its original form—such as PDF, email, or USB storage.

  • Right of withdrawal: The right of consumers to cancel the contract without justification within the cancellation period.

  • Entrepreneur: A legal or natural person acting in a professional or commercial capacity when entering a remote contract.

  • Distance contract: A purchase agreement concluded via remote communication methods such as online platforms, telephone, or email.

  • Means of distance communication: Tools such as websites, email, or telephone that facilitate contract formation without physical presence.

  • General Terms and Conditions (GTC): The contractual framework outlined in this document for all business transactions conducted via rebiento.com.

ARTICLE 3 – SCOPE

These GTC apply to all contracts formed between rebiento.com and consumers in the context of remote transactions. They apply regardless of the device used to access the store.

By placing an order and confirming acceptance, the customer agrees to these terms. Any deviations from these terms must be explicitly agreed in writing.

Customers may view, download, and print the GTC prior to completing a transaction. A digital copy is also provided with the order confirmation or via download link.

Where additional terms apply to specific goods or services, they will be clearly indicated. In the event of a conflict, the provision most favorable to the consumer will take precedence.

ARTICLE 4 – PRODUCTS AND OFFERS

Product listings on rebiento.com are non-binding invitations to place an order. They do not constitute legally binding offers.

All offers are subject to availability or expiration dates. Conditions like limited quantities or discount rules will be clearly communicated.

rebiento.com may revise product details, availability, or pricing without prior notice. Errors in product descriptions or pricing do not constitute grounds for contract enforcement.

Images are for reference only. Product attributes listed in the description are binding.

Every offer will outline:

  • Additional charges (e.g., customs, taxes, shipping)

  • Existence or absence of withdrawal rights

  • The order process

  • Accepted communication methods

  • Contract language options and record availability

  • Subscription or fixed-term contract duration

ARTICLE 5 – CONTRACT FORMATION

The purchase contract becomes legally binding when the consumer clicks “Buy now” and accepts the GTC during checkout.

An email acknowledging receipt of the order is sent automatically. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance. The contract becomes binding upon shipment confirmation or delivery of goods.

rebiento.com reserves the right to decline orders in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or stock limitations.

ARTICLE 6 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers may cancel their purchase within 30 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period begins on the day the consumer or their nominated third party (excluding the carrier) receives the goods.

To withdraw, a clear statement must be submitted to rebiento.com (e.g., via email or letter). Sending the notice before the 30-day deadline is sufficient.

Returned items must be sent back within 30 days of withdrawal notice. The consumer bears return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued once items are received and inspected.

Products may be opened and examined, as in a retail store. However, visible signs of use (e.g., wear or washing) may reduce or void refund eligibility.

ARTICLE 7 – CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL

Upon valid cancellation, rebiento.com will reimburse all payments, including standard shipping costs. Any premium delivery surcharges chosen by the customer are non-refundable.

Reimbursements will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed. No fees apply for refunds.

rebiento.com may withhold reimbursement until it receives the returned items or valid proof of return shipment.

ARTICLE 8 – LIMITATIONS OF WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS

Withdrawal rights do not apply to:

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Sealed hygiene products once opened

  • Opened audio, video, or software items

  • Perishables or items with a short shelf life

  • Items that cannot be returned due to health or safety concerns

  • Magazines or newspapers (single issues)

  • Fully rendered services where the consumer consented to execution during the withdrawal period

ARTICLE 9 – PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices on rebiento.com are final and include VAT (where applicable). Shipping fees are shown separately at checkout.

Price errors or misprints do not entitle the customer to fulfillment at the incorrect rate if the error was apparent.

Accepted payment methods include credit cards, PayPal, and other online payment options. Payment must be made within seven business days, unless otherwise specified.

Late payments may incur default interest and administrative fees.

ARTICLE 10 – DELIVERY AND RETENTION OF TITLE

Goods are dispatched after payment to the delivery address provided. Estimated delivery times are shown during checkout. Customers will be notified of delays.

Partial deliveries may occur where reasonable, with no additional shipping charges.

Goods remain the property of rebiento.com until payment is received in full.

ARTICLE 11 – WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

Customers are entitled to statutory warranty rights (typically 24 months). Claims for repair, replacement, or refund can be made for defective products.

Damage from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized alterations is not covered.

rebiento.com is fully liable for intentional or gross negligence and harm to life or health. For minor negligence, liability is limited to essential obligations and foreseeable damages.

Further liability is excluded unless required by law.

ARTICLE 12 – CONTRACT DURATION AND TERMINATION

Open-ended contracts may be terminated with one month’s notice.
Fixed-term contracts end automatically unless renewed. Cancellation is possible up to one month before expiration.

Renewals are only valid if agreed in advance. Promotional or trial contracts end without automatic renewal.

ARTICLE 13 – COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Customers are encouraged to contact customer service with any concerns, including a detailed issue description and order reference.

Complaints are answered within 14 days. Delays will be communicated. The aim is fair and timely resolution.

If unresolved, disputes may be submitted via the EU platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

ARTICLE 14 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

All contracts are governed by United Kingdom law, excluding the CISG. If the customer resides in another EU country, mandatory consumer protections from that country still apply.

Jurisdiction for commercial disputes lies with the registered office of rebiento.com.

ARTICLE 15 – LEGAL DISPUTES

This agreement and all associated consumer contracts are governed exclusively by the laws of the United Kingdom, even if the customer resides abroad.
